The Innovation Lab for Science and Education is an initiative between the University of Groningen and Dell Technologies that brings together all activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, HPC and HPDA technology within Universities and Research organizations. We aim to develop technology that can form the basis for creating practical applications for the benefit of Research, Education, and society. Besides fundamental research on the development of new applications, algorithms, we support researchers and education in the use of these techniques.

Collaboration between academia and industry is a key pillar of the governments' industrial strategy and the main mechanism by which long-term economic impacts will be realized for the country. While significant amounts of money have been spent on infrastructure, it does not offer great value on its own, as it's simply a tool for work. It is only when innovation is transformed into new products and services in industry that new economic value is created.

The innovation lab serves as a powerful platform to create an ecosystem of relationships with people and organizations spanning a diverse skill set. The lab serves as a networking and partnering opportunity to connect the organization with:
